ATCHISON, Kansas (AP) — The fiancee of a man killed in a grain elevator explosion in Kansas says they were three weeks away from getting married and taking a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas.

Family members gathered Monday outside the Bartlett Grain Co. facility in Atchison, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) northwest of Kansas City. They turned the facility's sign into a makeshift memorial to three workers who were killed in the blast Saturday. Three others remain missing and are presumed dead.

The victims included 20-year-old Chad Roberts. His fiancee, Alicia Cobleigh, says they were getting married Nov. 19.

She says they were high school sweethearts, and that he liked to take her fishing.

Acquaintances of another victim, 21-year-old Ryan Federinko, hung a sweatshirt on the sign, with his name and the word "why."
