The White House has come under recent criticism over claims the staff is underprepared to manage the high-profile event.
"I'm really concerned for the Trump people, because they have failed to fill some really vital posts, and this thing is all hands on deck," Melinda Bates, organizer of the event under former President Bill Clinton, told The New York Times on Tuesday.
