Americans fearful of a Donald Trump presidency are applying for Irish passports in huge numbers.
Irish Central says the number of Americans seeking passports from the Emerald Isle has jumped by 14 percent.
"Trump entered the race on June 14 of last year, but the surge in passport applications peaked when the New York billionaire began to look like the shock winner of the Republican primaries," the Irish news website says.
"Ireland seems to be one of the top preferred countries of destination for those who say they will not live in a President Trump-led America."
