A new webpage, designed to help airline passengers know their rights, has been launched by the Department of Transportation, The Hill reports.
The page is part of the DOT's website and is titled: "Got Flights? Know Your Rights."
It comes just days after a United Airlines passenger was violently pulled out of his seat and dragged from the aircraft. A video of the incident has sparked outrage and brought calls for congressional hearings.
The new webpage features information about the rights of passengers in dealing with tarmac delays, flight delays and cancellations, reservations, fares, ticketing and fees, refunds, accessibility and discrimination; lost or damaged back, bumping and oversales.
It also features a link for travelers to review their flying rights.
