Blinken to Israeli Defense Minister: US to Stand With Ally Against Iran Threat

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in a call with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, made clear that the United States would stand with Israel against any threats by Iran, the State Department said on Wednesday. Blinken and Gallant also discussed ongoing efforts to secure the release of all hostages through an agreement for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza, the State Department said.
