Actress Susan Sarandon bashed President Donald Trump while at the same time saying Wednesday he actually has some good qualities.
Sarandon, who has participated in progressive activism throughout her Hollywood career, appeared on "The View" and was asked about the president.
"He's terrible," said Sarandon, who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., for president and eventually voted for Green Party candidate Jill Stein. "It's gonna take a little while to understand he doesn't have a follow through, this guy. He likes signing, it's like he's playing president. But he doesn't know the ramifications a lot of times. He hasn't thought it through."
The Daily Caller posted a clip of Sarandon's appearance.
The 70-year-old actress admitted a healthcare bill she supports could potentially get passed under Trump.
"Now, we have a chance to get single-payer [healthcare] through," she said. "There is actually a bill being introduced by Bernie [Sanders]. There's a lot of other Democrats and Republicans [who support it]. There are people that are Republicans that voted, they wanted change, they didn't want the status quo.
"[Trump] was the only guy that was talking about change. He wasn't very good on the details and people bought into it."
Last summer, Sarandon said Democrat Hillary Clinton's plans on foreign policy were more worrisome than Trump's.
