While pundits talk about the midterm elections coming in November, voters have already begun casting ballots in four states: Vermont, South Dakota, Minnesota, and New Jersey.

Voting will begin in another three states on Thursday: Illinois, North Dakota, and Wyoming.

Nine other states will open early voting in the first half of October: Montana, Nebraska, California, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, Arizona, Georgia, and Maine.
