August 24, 2018: Forty-one percent of American adults at least occasionally lose sleep over relationships. Thirty-six percent lose sleep over money and 30 percent over work. Twenty-eight percent cite health as a reason for sleepless nights, but only 14 percent name politics.
"Older millennials (ages 28 to 37) are most likely to say they occasionally lose sleep — 77 percent of them lie awake at night because of something on their minds."
For younger baby boomers, money is the top reason for losing sleep. For the Silent Generation, it’s health. For everybody else, it’s relationships.
