The Democrat-appointed Florida Supreme Court on Friday narrowly ordered a manual recount of all "under-votes" statewide, including 9.000 ballots in Democrat-run Miami-Dade County.
The court also ordered 383 Gore votes from Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties to be included, cutting President-elect Bush's lead in Florida's popular vote to 154 votes, CNN reported.
The 4-3 ruling gives Democrat Al Gore new hope in his bid to overturn the Florida election results that certified Bush as the winner of the state's 25 electoral votes.
The action overturned a ruling Monday by Leon County Circuit Judge N. Sanders Sauls that had blocked any further recount.
