An overwhelming majority of citizens in three countries allied with the United States give high unfavorable ratings to GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, according to a new
Zogby Analytics online poll.
The poll talked to 1,000 adults in Australia and 1,000 in Germany in addition to 1,500 adults in the United Kingdom. Nearly three-fourths of those polled expressed "across the board disdain" for Trump, according to the pollsters.
Here are the numbers from each country who said they had somewhat or very unfavorable views of Trump:
• Australia: 73 percent
• Germany: 73 percent
• United Kingdom: 72 percent
"Even more pressing is the fact that the very unfavorable percentages ranged from 58 percent in the United Kingdom to 60 percent in Australia and 63 percent in Germany," Zogby said in a statement.
All three countries showed unfavorable ratings for Trump across age, gender, and education demographics. In Germany the very unfavorable rating was 74 percent with those older than 65.
