Poll: Dem Tim Walz Leading GOP's Jeff Johnson by 8 for Minn. Governor

Democrat Tim Walz is leading Republican Jeff Johnson by 8 points in the race for Minnesota governor, a new KSTP/SurveyUSA poll reveals.

Forty-nine percent of likely voters favored Walz, compared to 41 percent who backed Johnson. Nine percent of those polled said they were still undecided in the race.

The survey, conducted Oct. 29-31, surveyed 1,000 people in Minnesota. The margin of error was plus or minus 5.3 percentage points.
