The reviews of Carly Fiorina's national singing debut are in — and they're filled with sour notes.
Moments after Ted Cruz tapped Fiorina to be his vice-presidential running mate, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO warbled a made-up nursery rhyme she said she would sing to the Texas senator's two young daughters:
"I know two girls that I just adore, I'm so happy I can see them more. Cause we travel on the bus all day, we get to play, we get to play."
But the ditty didn't sit well with Twitter users who instantly rendered their verdicts on Fiorina's out-of-tune singing attempt:
The Wrap.com, a leading entertainment news blog, called Fiorina's musical interlude "one of the most disturbing nursery rhymes since "Rock-a-bye Baby."
