Trump to Dems: 'Win Elections' If You Want to Shape SCOTUS

President Donald Trump is challenging Democrats to "win elections" if they want the opportunity to choose Supreme Court justices and other judicial nominees.

Trump tweeted this Wednesday evening while in Brussels for a NATO summit:

The tweet comes as Democrats continue to criticize Trump's latest Supreme Court pick Judge Brett Kavanaugh and say they will oppose his nomination to the high court. Kavanaugh currently serves on the Washington, D.C., Circuit Court of Appeals, a position for which he was confirmed in 2006.

Democrats claim Kavanaugh's conservative views could potentially lead to a ban on abortion.
