Donald Trump hit the fundraising trail with a vow to donors that he will donate $1 million to his campaign if a goal of $1 million is met by the end of July, The Hill reports.

In an email sent out Thursday night that paralleled the end of the Democratic National Convention, Trump urged donors to give before the July 31 Federal Elections Commission deadline, according to The Hill.

"And with your help, I am confident that we will hit this million dollar goal and keep going on the path to victory," The Hill quoted Trump. "Nothing would make me happier than to write another million dollar matching check."
