President Donald Trump took a fresh slap at the media on Tuesday, insisting that despite its ongoing creation of "fake news," Americans aren't fooled by the barrage.
And he also blasted special counsel Robert Mueller's year-long probe into Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election and whether the Trump campaign played a role in it.
According to Tuesday's Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that 47 percent of likely voters approve of Trump's job performance, while 52 percent disapprove.
The latest Rasmussen figures also include 33 percent who strongly approve of the way Trump is performing, and 40 percent who strongly disapprove.
Trump's latest missive against the media and the Mueller probe is reminiscent of similar combative tweets he has issued since taking office in January 2017.
