President Donald Trump on Friday tweeted a summary of the House Intelligence Committee's findings, saying the final report shows there was no evidence proven between his presidential campaign and Russia.
"House Intelligence Committee votes to release final report," he tweeted early Friday.
On Thursday, members on the committee voted along party lines to release the Republicans' report, which also disagreed with the intelligence community that Russian President Vladimir Putin was trying to help Trump's campaign, reports CNN.
A redacted version of the committee's report will be released to the public after it goes through a declassification process.
Meanwhile, Democrats on the committee plan to submit their own additions to the report before it is declassified, and say Republicans on the committee did not adequately investigate the collusion claims.
On Thursday, committee Democrats, during a business meeting, sought several motions, including ones to hold former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon in contempt and to demand the subpoena of several senior Trump officials, but Republicans on the committee rejected them all.
California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, warned in a tweet Thursday the Republicans' actions mean Russia will once again interfere in U.S. elections.
He did not immediately respond to Trump's early Friday morning tweet.
