A woman in Pennsylvania who created the Trump House, a two-story home painted the colors of the Stars and Stripes with a 4-meter metal stand-up of President Donald Trump, has been invited to attend the president’s acceptance speech in Washington, D.C., KCRA reports.
Trump will accept the Republican nomination on Thursday night from the South Lawn of the White House.
Leslie Rossi created the Trump House during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Of her invitation, she told the news outlet: "I wasn't sure it was legitimate at first, but now I'm in.”
"The visitors feel like they are a part of this too, so when I get to go it's a part of them going too," Rossi said.
The Trump House, in Latrobe, Penn., has had thousands of visitors. People from China and Japan have even dropped by to take a photo with the Trump statue.
“I was sometimes here seven days a week, all day,” Rossi told Global News. “I tried not to come too early in the morning because it made it too long.”
Trump posted about the house on Sept. 5, 2016, and thanked the owner.
“Safe to say, they are on the Trump Train,” he wrote. “Thank you for your support.”
