President Donald Trump donated his fourth-quarter salary to the Department of Transportation, USA Today reported.
The White House announced that the $100,000 salary would go toward rebuilding "our crumbling infrastructure," USA Today noted.
Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao accepted the donation Tuesday afternoon in the press briefing room.
Trump has donated his salary before. In November 2017, he donated his third-quarter salary to helping fight the opioid crisis.
In July 2017, the president donated his salary to the Department of Education.
