White House budget director Mick Mulvaney on Wednesday testified that the military parade proposed by President Donald Trump could cost up to $30 million, MarketWatch reports.
The director of Office of Management and Budget put the range at somewhere between $10 million and $30 million, depending on the length of the parade.
Mulvaney is testifying before the House Budget Committee on Wednesday.
Trump ordered the Pentagon to look into ideas for a military parade.
"The marching orders were: I want a parade like the one in France," a military official said. "This is being worked at the highest levels of the military."
