President Donald Trump said in a Monday morning tweet the media should stop being rude to his representatives.

The Hill noted his tweet came after his senior adviser Kellyanne Conway made several appearances Monday to defend her recent surveillance claims.

Conway said on 'Good Morning America' that she had "no evidence" that Trump Tower was monitored "in any number of ways," as she had indicated in an earlier interview.

She said she was discussing "surveilling generally."

Trump has accused former President Barack Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower during the election.
