President Donald Trump vowed that it will "be a big week for infrastructure" and for "investing in our country" after the trillions the U.S. has spent in the Middle East.

Trump unveils his budget Monday, in which he wants to spend $200 billion over the next decade on infrastructure to spur $1.5 trillion between private developers and state and local governments.

Meanwhile, congressional Republicans are mulling whether to propose raising the federal gas tax as a way to pay for Trump's infrastructure wish list.
