Donald Trump says he'll decide next month whether to run for governor of New York against incumbent Democrat Andrew Cuomo.

"I'm looking at it. New York state has tremendously high taxes and lots of problems. So, I'm looking at it. I'll make a decision next month," the real estate and entertainment billionaire said Monday on "Fox & Friends"

"I'm having a meeting sometime early next month with many of the Republicans. They really want me to do it," he added.

A scheduled appearance in New Hampshire in January has fueled speculation Trump has an eye on running for another office — president in 2016. But he cautioned Monday against reading too much into his New Hampshire visit.

"They want me to go to New Hampshire, and they've asked me to make a speech. And, I will be doing that," Trump said. "I'm going to go make a speech. I wouldn't take too much from it."

Trump credited the dismal launch of Obamacare with why President Barack Obama has had, as he heard someone say, "the worst year of almost any presidency."

He called the healthcare law "an outrage."

"It's not only the cost," he said. "The fact is that the president's whole legacy is based on Obamacare."

Trump also said that he believes the number of people who have actually lost their current coverage due to Obamacare changes is much higher than a reported 5 million.
