Donald Trump, hinting of a possible sex scandal, predicted in 2013 that New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman would be finished.

The future president had gone on Twitter to make his forecast.

Schneiderman announced on Monday he would resign after four women accused him of physical abuse.

Two of the women told The New Yorker that Schneiderman repeatedly hit them during the course of their relationships with him in recent years. A third woman, who was also said to be involved with him, told her story to the other two women. And a fourth woman said he slapped her when she rebuffed him.

In his tweet, Trump had referenced Anthony Weiner, a Democrat, who resigned from Congress after being caught messaging obscene images of himself to other women. Eliot Spitzer, who had served as New York's governor, was found to be "Client 9" on a call girl service, according to Fox News.
