Trump: Economy 'Looking Really Good'

President Donald Trump on Monday said that "the economy is looking really good," as the S&P 500, Dow Jones industrial average and Nasdaq 100 opened strong.

The economy is looking really good. It has been many years that we have seen these kind of numbers. The underlying strength of companies has perhaps never been better.

According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, which notes that recessions are cyclical and occur every five years or so on average, it has been 105 months since the last recession, only 16 months away from setting a new record.
