Donald Trump does not seem sure if his charity, The Donald J. Trump Foundation is 100 percent law-abiding.

In an interview on "Full Measure With Sharyl Attkisson," the Republican presidential candidate was asked if he was confident his foundation followed all of the laws that govern charities.

"Well, I hope so, I mean, my lawyers do it," the billionaire real-estate tycoon told Attkisson, an award-winning journalist.

"We give away money, I don't make anything, I take no salaries, I take no — any costs, I have zero costs, and a lot of money goes through the Trump Foundation into charities. Goes to charities, it doesn't go to me, it goes to charities."

In April, The Washington Post reported that it found that no donation made to the charity between 2009 and 2014 came directly from Trump himself.
