Trump Cancels Miami Campaign Trip

Donald Trump's campaign on Friday announced it was canceling its trip to Miami in the wake of the fatal sniper shootings of police officers in Dallas Thursday night.

Trump's campaign added that a statement from the presumptive GOP presidential nominee would soon follow.

Five police officers were killed and seven were wounded during a peaceful protest against the use of deadly force by police against Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota.

Trump sent out prayers to the families affected by the tragic events via Twitter:
