Donald Trump said Monday running for president has been worth it despite the "unbelievably unfair hits" to his family.
"It took massive amounts of work, incredible amounts of intrusion into my life, unbelievably unfair hits to my family, but the answer is very proudly yes," Trump, a Republican, told The Wall Street Journal between campaign stops one day before the presidential election.
"We have an unbelievable shot," he said regarding his chances of defeating Democrat Hillary Clinton on Tuesday.
Trump added that should he win the election, the celebration will be "about an hour."
"Then I'll get up Wednesday morning and start working so hard immediately."
Tuesday's election could swing either way, with some polls showing a Clinton lead and others showing a Trump lead. The RealClear Politics polling average has Clinton leading by just under 3 percentage points.
