President Donald Trump’s chief campaign strategist told reporters on Wednesday that the winner of the election will become clear “by the end of this week,” predicting a Trump victory.
“By the end of this week, it will be clear to the entire nation that President Trump and Vice President [Mike] Pence will be reelected for another four years,” Jason Miller said during a conference call with reporters Wednesday evening, according to RealClearPolitics.
He went on to claim that Trump has a strong chance of victory in several states that most major press outlets have called for Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, including Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
“We are confident in our pathway. We are confident in our math. We said all along we are viewing some of these races as math equations,” Miller said before going on to imply that some of Biden’s votes are illegitimate.
“If we count all legal ballots, the president wins,” he said.
Deputy campaign manager Justin Clark also attempted to cast doubt on the results of the election, claiming in a statement that “Democrats are scheming to disenfranchise and dilute Republican votes.”
