Gallup: Trump Support Lagging Among US Jews

President Donald Trump's approval rating among American Jews is more than 10 points below his overall approval rating in a new poll.

The findings from the Gallup survey taken from Jan. 20, the day Trump was sworn in, to March 15:

• Trump's approval rating among U.S. Jews is 31 percent.
• Trump's overall approval rating is 42 percent.
• 64 percent of U.S. Jews identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party, while 29 percent identify or lean toward the Republican Party.

A report in February claimed the Republican Jewish Coalition was divided over whether to support Trump's presidency because of his stance on the Middle East peace process and other factors.
