Trump: US' 'Total Might' Sparked Talks Between North and South Korea

President Donald Trump suggested his get-tough policy with North Korea has driven the government of Kim Jong-Un to talks with South Korea and he blasted those questioning his strategy.

Trump also called the talks "a good thing." His comments came in a tweet early Thursday morning.

Bloomberg reported North Korea and South Korea representatives have spoken several times over a hotline to conduct technical checks in advance of more formal talks.

It was the first time the two nations have had direct communication in two years.
