President Donald Trump Thursday warned that if Joe Biden is elected, he'll be "raising taxes on everybody" and restore regulations that were cut during the Trump years.
"We're cutting middle income taxes substantially," said Trump to Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo. "They know that. That's what made this thing successful, is between that and regulation cuts."
Biden will "put all regulations back on," and the United States will return to the time when it took "20 years to build a highway," the president added.
"I took highway construction down from 19 years to probably one [year] by the time I totally finished it," said Trump. "By the way, if it doesn't work it is, you know, going to get rejected for environmental or safety reasons but he is going to put them back, he was taking you 20 years to get a road approved."
He added that cutting regulations was "frankly bigger than even tax cuts," but Biden "wants to end our tax cuts."
If that happens, "we won't have any of the jobs. All of the companies that are pouring into our country, many, especially car companies from Japan, Germany other places, they are going back, they are going to go back ... I have many car companies coming into this country. When I first started, we hadn't had a car company come in many years, they weren't coming to this country. This country was off bounds. Now they take advantage of it."
