New Hampshire's gubernatorial race pitting Gov. Chris Sununu against Democratic challenger Molly Kelly is now too close to call, a University of New Hampshire poll revealed this weekend.
According to the Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, the two candidates are in a dead heat, with 49 percent of the 630 likely voters surveyed tied between the two.
Sununu had a strong lead over Kelly earlier this year, but her support has continued to grow. Further, the voters were tied at 46 percent for each candidate if the election had been being held on the days the poll was taken.
Kelly leads Sununu by 78 percent among Democrats, but Sununu leads her by 89 percent among Republicans.
According to Real Clear Politics, Sununu is ahead of Kelly by four points in an average of polling.
