The full list of Secret Service codenames assigned to the presidential candidates is out, with the newest additions — the running mates — reported on this week.
Republican Donald Trump, whose codename "Mogul" was revealed last fall when he began receiving 24-hour protection, will appear on the November ballot with "Hoosier" — the name assigned to his running mate Mike Pence, CNN reported. Pence also serves as Indiana's governor.
Democrat Hillary Clinton will keep the codename she's had since she was given protection leading up to the 1992 presidential election, "Evergreen." Her running mate, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, will be known as "Daredevil," according to The Washington Post.
The candidates' spouses have all been given names as well:
- Muse: Melania Trump
- Hummingbird: Karen Pence
- Eagle: Bill Clinton
The codename for Kaine's wife Anne Holton has yet to be determined, reports the Post.
Secret Service protectees are able to provide their own names, although they're given the first letter. Generally speaking, every member of a family has the same first letter.
President Barack Obama is known as "Renegade," First lady Michelle Obama is "Renaissance," Malia Obama is "Radiance," and Sasha Obama is "Rosebud."
