Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., says he's anticipating “two big wins” for Republicans in Georgia on Jan. 5.
In an interview Wednesday on Sinclair Broadcasting’s “America This Week,” Scott underscored the necessity of reelecting Sens. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., who are facing stiff challenges from Democrats Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock.
“We’re going to have two big wins,” he predicted. “It’s very important we win these two states,” warning a Democrat-controlled Senate would favor packing the courts and a progressive agenda.
“Democrats believe in socialism,” he said, adding: “Republicans have to come away with at least one win.”
Socialism is “not what this country wants,” Scott argued.
“This country wants the opportunity to live the dream…Kamala Harris says it’s equal outcome,” he warned. “It’s equal opportunity.”
“This is going to be about the future of the country,” Scott said of the Jan. 5 elections in Georgia. “People are very similar to what you see in Florida.. what this country wants is what Georgia wants.”
