President Donald Trump's rally in Valdosta, Georgia, was so effective in energizing the GOP base for the Jan. 5 Senate runoffs, the president will be doing another one, according to Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller on Newsmax TV.
"You'll see the president again heading down to Georgia to campaign for the candidates," Miller told Wednesday's "Spicer & Co."
"Easily, on Saturday, that's the most amount of time he's ever spent in a speech, talking up to vote for somebody else, and think a lot of folks in Georgia clearly understood that."
Miller will be joining Vice President Mike Pence on Thursday for a rally in Augusta, Georgia, he added to host Sean Spicer.
"This is critical; we have to get this done, Sean," he added.
Miller also rejected any talk of boycotting the vote for incumbents Sens. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., in their tight Senate runoffs against Democrats Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock.
"He made it pretty clear that everyone needs to come out and vote for David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler," Miller said of Trump's speech Saturday. "Any of this talk about owning the libs by giving control of the Senate to Chuck Schumer, it's just absolute nonsense. The line that I use is, 'that's Carole Baskin-level crazy.'
"So, no, if you're a Republican and you're in Georgia, you have got to get out and vote for David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. That is going to be so critical."
Republicans already have at least a tie for control of the Senate with 50 seats, while Democrats need to sweep the Jan. 5 Senate runoffs and seat Joe Biden in the White House to give the vice president a deciding vote in a 50-50 split.
