RNC's Ronna McDaniel to Newsmax TV: 'We See Things Shifting Our Way'

By    |   Thursday, 29 October 2020 07:14 PM EDT

Republican National Committee head Ronna McDaniel said Thursday that President Donald Trump must hold Florida, North Carolina and Georgia, where challenger Joe Biden is pushing hard.

In an interview on Newsmax TV’s ''Spicer & Co.,'' McDaniel insisted, however, there are ''multiple paths'' to an Electoral College victory.

''You’ve got to hold Florida, North Carolina, Georgia,'' she said. ''You've got to hold that in the states you won in 2016.

''We see things shifting our way,'' she said, adding that ''our voters are not as inclined to vote by mail …''

''In Florida, we’re doing well in early voting,'' she said, adding that early voting in Florida, Arizona and North Carolina ''is really where our voters are coming out.''

''It’s going to be tight everywhere … it’ll come down who’s turning out their vote,'' she predicted.

According to McDaniel, the Trump campaign has a whopping $251 million to spend — and far outmatches Biden on the ground.

''There is no ground game'' in the Biden campaign, she said.

''Door-knocks are more impactful than anything because those are neighbor to neighbor and they're relationship driven. And that's how you change a vote,'' she said.

''The RNC has now passed the Obama ground game that he had in 2012,'' she declared. ''It's the largest ground operation in the history of politics.''
