Hillary Clinton is blasting President Donald Trump for giving his acceptance speech at the White House.
Clinton made her remarks in a Friday tweet. She wrote: “What we saw last night sums up so much of the Trump administration: A law-breaking convention on your dime, on the lawn of your house, to celebrate a president like a king for overseeing the needless deaths of 180,000 Americans—and counting.”
Trump accepted the Republican nomination for a second term and delivered a blistering attack on Joe Biden despite criticism he was using the executive residence as a political prop. Fox News noted fireworks spelled out “Trump 2020” over the Washington Monument at the conclusion of his speech.
Attached to Clinton's tweet was a photograph of fireworks by the monument. Printed on the photo were the words: “Trump Failed 180,000+ Died.”
