The Republican National Committee has unveiled a new ad chastising Democrats for celebrating a deadlocked special election as a "moral victory," The Daily Caller reports.
The race for Ohio’s usually deep-red 12th Congressional District between Republican Troy Balderson and Democrat Danny O’Connor has yet to be called, but some Democrats were quick to claim a “moral victory” over their GOP opponent, who had the support of President Donald Trump, for not easily winning the typically conservative area.
"Winning is winning," the ad says after showing clips from left-leaning news media commenting on the result. It ends with a quote from "The Fast And The Furious," which states, "It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning."
The ad ends with the statement: "Moral Victories Don't Get A Vote In Congress."
