Reince Priebus is expected to privately meet with House Republicans next Tuesday to discuss the GOP's nominating process, which has been under fire in recent weeks,
Politico reports.
The Republican National Committee chair will powwow with members of the House Republican Conference in a closed-door meeting at the GOP's Capitol Hill Club.
The sit-down comes amid protests from Donald Trump and his supporters that the GOP's nominating process is jiggered against outsiders like himself and favors the Republican establishment.
Sen. Ted Cruz, who is in second place, has been scooping up delegates this way to Trump's chagrin, slowly closing the gap in the delegate count.
Last week, Trump slammed Priebus as a "disgrace" and blasted the party's delegate system as "absolutely rigged."
