The Republican National Committee raised a record $13.8 million in March, The Hill is reporting.
It marks the RNC’s largest haul for March during a non-presidential year, according to the website.
First quarter fundraising for the RNC now stands at $39 million and brings its total fundraising for the 2018 election cycle to $171.5 million, The Hill reported.
"Another month of record-breaking fundraising confirms what many in the mainstream media are ignoring: Americans are doing better under Republican leadership," said RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
"Our country has more jobs, a growing economy, and higher wages, thanks to President (Donald) Trump and Republicans in Congress."
The RNC has committed $250 million to a midterm election strategy in an effort to preserve the party’s majority in the House.
"Our No. 1 priority is keeping the House. We have to win the House," RNC political director Juston Johnson said. "That is the approach we took to put the budget together.”
