Barbour: Scott Will Edge Sink in Fla.

Gov. Haley Barbour acknowledges that Rick Scott “came out of the clear blue sky” in the Sunshine State, but the Mississippi Republican believes Scott is the odds-on favorite to be Florida’s next governor.

Scott, a Republican who survived a bruising GOP primary to become the insurgent tea party favorite Rick Scott, who emerged from a hard-fought GOP primary, has been deadlocked in the polls with Democratic opponent Alex Sink.

However, Barbour tells Newsmax.TV in an exclusive interview, “it's going to be a competitive race, there's no question about that. But I think the odds clearly favor Rick Scott."
