A majority of Americans support President Donald Trump making deals with Democrats, but Trump's opponents are far more against working with "the opposition" than his supporters, according to the latest CBS Nation Tracker poll by YouGov.
Only 10 percent of Trump supporters are staunchly against bipartisanship, while 26 percent of Trump opponents "don’t like it, they should be opposing him."
Among Trump supporters, a combined 90 percent either "like it" (30 percent) or "accept it, as long as he doesn't give away too much" (60 percent).
Trump's opposition polled is much less bipartisan in their thinking. Only 25 percent of his opponents say they "like it, deal-making is how Washington should work," while less than half "accept it" (49 percent).
The CBS/YouGov polled interviewed 2,371 U.S. adults between Oct. 11-13 and has a margin of error of 2.5 percent.
