Poll: Donald Trump Has Huge Lead in NY, Calif., Pa.

Billionaire developer Donald Trump has a huge lead in New York ahead of next Tuesday’s Republican primary in a new poll that shows the GOP front-runner ahead of challengers in Pennsylvania and California as well.

In New York, Trump has 54 percent support among GOP primary voters in his home state in the CBS News Battleground Tracker poll released Sunday morning, compared to 21 percent for Ted Cruz and 19 percent for John Kasich.

In California, here is the latest:

• Trump, 49 percent
• Cruz, 31 percent
• Kasich, 16 percent.

In Pennsylvania:

• Trump, 46 percent
• Cruz, 26 percent
• Kasich, 23 percent

The CBS News Battleground Tracker poll has a 5.9 percent margin of error and New York and 4.8 percent margins of error in California and Pennsylvania.
