Poll: GOP's Harris Leads McCready by 1 Point in NC House Race

Republican Mark Harris holds a slim one-point edge over Democrat Dan McCready in the race to represent North Carolina’s 9^th Congressional District, a New York Times/Siena College Poll reveals.

Forty-five percent of those polled in the district back Harris, while 44 percent support McCready. The margin of error for the poll is plus or minus 5 percent. In addition, 7 percent of those surveyed were still undecided.

The poll, conducted Oct. 26-30, surveyed 505 people in the district.
