Democrat Raphael Warnock has a razor-slim lead over Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., in advance of the Jan. 5 Senate runoff in Georgia, a new poll by InsiderAdvantage/FOX5 Atlanta reveals.
Here are the highlights from the poll results, released Tuesday:
- 49% for Warnock.
- 48% for Loeffler.
- 3% undecided.
Warnock’s lead is well within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
The race is one of two Senate runoffs in Georgia. The contests will decide whether Republicans retain control of the Senate.
The poll, conducted Nov. 16, surveyed 800 people.
