Paul Ryan: GOP Candidates 'Fine' With My Agenda Campaign

House Speaker Paul Ryan says Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich approve of the agenda that he is promoting in his campaign-style videos.

"They say they're fine. They understand why we're doing this, what we're doing, and they're comfortable with the direction we're headed," Ryan said during the CBS This Morning interview.

Some have said the agenda videos look like presidential campaign videos. Ryan said he isn't running because he has a "young family."

Ryan said the party isn't concerned about who the nominee will be. They are concerned about having an agenda and a plan ready if they win.

"We know who we are, we know what we believe, and we know the kind of solutions that are necessary. "

Ryan agreed with CBS reporter Norah O'Donnell that he is running a "parallel-policy shop" with the videos. He said the party could not wait to reveal an agenda after the presidential nominating convention. He said then "it'll be too late."

He said Republicans have "different styles and forms," and he is a "Jack Kemp / Ronald Reagan Republican."

Donald Trump is a "Donald Trump Republican," Ryan told the CBS panel.

In the speaker's video titled "Problems We Can Fix," he said that Republicans in Congress need to channel concern instead of only reporting that they are angry.

"America, we have problems that we can fix. And we need to do this together," Ryan said in the video.
