The legal walls might be closing in on former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort.

CNN reporter Katelyn Polantz tweeted Monday that Manafort has two scheduled court appearances this week: an arraignment Wednesday in D.C. federal court and one in federal court in Virginia on Friday.

Special counsel Robert Mueller's team hit ex-lobbyist Manafort and another Trump campaign aide, Rick Gates ,with a 32-count indictment in Northern Virginia last week, accusing them of manipulating tax and bank documents.

They were both charged in an offshore money-laundering scheme last year in Washington, D.C.

Gates pleaded guilty Friday as part of a deal with the Mueller probe. Manafort has denied wrongdoing, and has indicated he will take the charges to a jury, the New York Daily News reported.
