President Donald Trump said late Wednesday he will announce his decision on the Paris climate agreement Thursday in the Rose Garden at the White House.

The president made the announcement on Twitter:

Axios reported earlier Wednesday two sources said Trump would withdraw the United States from the agreement.

The move would be worked out by EPA chief Scott Pruitt and a small team.

The president refused to endorse the accord at the G7 summit of industrialized nations Saturday, saying he needed more time to decide.

He posted tweets later he would announce a decision this week.
