Donald Trump played doctor Wednesday, issuing a dire prognosis for anti-Trump forces.
"You'll hear about these Never Trumpers, who are dying," the Republican presidential candidate told the group of pastors in Cleveland, Ohio, as Politico reported. "Right now, they're on respirators, OK."
The Twitter hashtag #nevertrump has become a major social media address for Trump's detractors to comment. There is also "Never Trump," a project of and paid for by Never Means Never PAC.
Trump also said donations to his campaign are up from his supporters as well as his former enemies.
"They're coming in. These were Never Trump, Never Trump, Never Trump, and now they're — believe me, they see lower taxes, they see cutting the regulations, they see job creation, which is so important, and it's really been amazing," the billionaire real-estate tycoon said.
