House Judiciary Committee head Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said his committee is continuing its inquiry into whether to proceed with impeachment of President Donald Trump.

In an interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Nadler said the testimony from former special counsel Robert Mueller “broke the lie that the president, the Attorney General have been saying to the American people… that the report found no collusion, no obstruction and totally exonerated the president.”

We have impeachment resolutions before the committee,” Nadler said. “We are conducting investigations to determine whether we should report those impeachment resolutions to the House, or direct our own and report those to the House. We're considering those resolutions.”

He also suggested the House could issue another resolution to rebuke Trump for his inflammatory tweets denigrating Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., and his congressional district — as the House did on Trump’s attacks on four minority congresswomen.

“It wouldn't be a bad idea,” he said.
